lol I just went on to Dougies (the guy from McFly) twitter (because Jedward twitterd him) and this is something he wrote...
Jedward are releasing Blinks "All The Small Things". Please help me raise enough money to pay them not too
I don't know if he's joking but is it just us Jedward fans who are quite happy with the single decision?
Alot of Blink 182 fans are pretty annoyed about it. Alot of my friends aren't too happy but you can't please everyone. Hopefully their minds will change when they hear it.

I think some people here were right about Blink 182 fans not being happy about Jedwards cover of their song... www.fleckingrecords.co.uk/2010/06/blink-182-fans-are-outraged-at-jedward-cover.html'Some fans have even started Facebook campaigns to get the original version in the charts' Why do people have to do things like that? Just to spite John and Edward? That's just sad imo. I hope they get to number 1 even more now ;D is there any truth about this campaign, i do not have facebook

I've said it before, people are well within their rights to be music snobs. They are well within their rights to be Blink182 fans. But they are NOT well within their rights to be BOTH.

if you join, i will join i dont like even numbers ;D alright guys i think we just need to show a jedpower. we still have 45 days to go or so. by the time tha album comes out or single maybe this hate thing may have subside already let not negative vibes carried by the wind and pollute the air and inhaled by blackhearted haters, in short lets be positive. everything has been decide for a reason and the guys and management are expecting this kind of backlash

i dont think having a campaign like facebook will work, we will just fuel the haters, like fight fire with fire. the power of internet and networking is sometimes not useful at all depends on the objective.
we used to have here the chartwatch - we did gifting before i dont know if you were around that time when UP/IIB was released. im thinking our approach must be more on logistic and - (dk if thats the right term) realistic.
i dont know if im making sense - market (fanbase) segmentation and forecasting is what im up to

On the plus side it's lots more publicity. It's the good old x versus y chart fight aint it? These people are actually giving the boys more (free) publicity and will get people talking about them and raise their profile with some who still have managed to not have heard of them yet.
I'm going to double dare them to do a McFly song next...

haters will just bring it to indifferent people's attention the boys have a new single coming out - win. Especially since the last most of them heard about the boys in the UK is they were "dropped" by sony. Us doing a campaign will just increase hater numbers. total sales count more than chart position with a sensible record company anyhow. so let the haters have their fun and we can all enjoy the free publicity.

I totally agree with you,all haters need to get over the fact that they have alot of fans and are actually very talented, the boys are going to be around for a long time.= xxx

I think the ironic thing is, if the haters hadn't hated on them SO much back at the beginning of their careers, I don't think Jedward would be in such a good position now. Maybe they were right to 'really love' the haters after all

Maybe they were right to 'really love' the haters after all I think this is right, a strong reaction, good or bad, is better than a lukewarm reaction. If they hadn't polarised opinion so much they wouldn't be as big as they are now. And I guess any publicity is good publicity, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, yadda yadda, cliche cliche. And tbh I don't think Facebook groups mean too much, a lot of people join but their commitment to whatever the group is doesn't go much beyond that.

I'm going to double dare them to do a McFly song next... yeah its true, i said that the other day- i want them to do an original song but to non fans they have disappeared since UP/IIB so it would be unrealistic for them to do so. What attention would that bring? None. With doing a cover of Blink it gets people talking about it, gives it more of a buzz.. so 'know. Maybe one day theyll do an original song.. who knows haha. and yeah mcfly!! love that they tweeted dougie!
