Ghostbusters seems to be a big no then! Is Louis already giving up hope do we think?

Nothing's been said by Louis so far to indicate that Ghostbusters will be released as a single, as far as I can tell.
In fairness, it probably will be on the album as it's so popular with the fans, but I'd like to think that Louis knows better than to release it as a single!

Louis still thinks that it's the kids that love them and no-one older. As for the rockier route... We Will Rock You was rock and that didn't prove very popular. It didn't get them in the bottom two like GB did but I have only come across ONE fan who says it's their favourite

Ick. I wasn't thinking 'heavy' rock - just something a bit edgier sounding. Fun, preppy rock.

That could really suit them

With all the good writers out there surely someone can come up with a few decent songs.. we don't want a botched job (album)!! Can´t Touch This has got the catchy appeal of ice ice baby and I´m sure the boys would do a great job with it, but I have to agree with you. Especially after seeing their Pop! video and twitcams - they are talented and can do so much more than covering novelty 90´s songs. I worry sometimes that Louis sees them as being in the same category as Chico or Same Difference Having said that, the boys seemed confident enough about doing their own stuff too and if MC Hammer was just one of a few songs to fun up the album, its fine - but I´d prefer not to see it as being the one to promote the album - better an original or a song with a bit more cred.

I was thinking that 'jump jump jump' would be that Kriss Kross song... I don't want there to be too many covers on the album though

Ghostbusters should be a B-Side at the very most, but definitely not a single. 2 X Factor songs in a row is a bad idea, they need their own stuff other wise people will loose interest.
3 covers at the very most on their album. I don't see why Louis is so keen to make them do covers? They're not the cast of Glee jeez, they need some of their own songs.
And I think their most recent tweet is definitely a hint! But which song could it be? Jump Around by House of Pain is the most likely one but it could also be - Jump by Van Halen, and one newspaper mentioned Jump by Kriss Kross. There's also that one Girls Aloud did, think it was a cover. Doubt it'll be that one though XD
Out of them 4 I'd want them to do the Van Halen one because I like that song.

Would be bloody hilarious though! ;D And singing those lyrics isn't that different to Edward's little "mother-f******* princess" moment...
