I'll serve your ass like john macenroe If your girl steps up, I'm smacking the hoThey can't do it. I'll serve your ass like Roger Federer just doesn't rhyme unfortunately... Would be bloody hilarious though! ;D And singing those lyrics isn't that different to Edward's little "mother-f******* princess" moment... Yeah!! And word to the moms. They came to drop bombs... ;D

With all the good writers out there surely someone can come up with a few decent songs.. we don't want a botched job (album)!! Can´t Touch This has got the catchy appeal of ice ice baby and I´m sure the boys would do a great job with it, but I have to agree with you. Especially after seeing their Pop! video and twitcams - they are talented and can do so much better than covering novelty 90´s songs. I worry sometimes that Louis sees them as being in the same category as Chico or Same Difference Having said that, the boys seemed confident enough about doing their own stuff too and if MC Hammer was just one of a few songs to fun up the album, its fine - but I´d prefer not to see it as being the one to promote the album - better an original or a song with a bit more cred. I agree they are very creative and on a different planet to Chico and Same difference I saw this the moment they walked onto the X Factor stage to audition in Glasgow. These guys have the ability to be mega international stars. And to achieve this they need a good team around them and a great first album, which will lay a strong foundation for their career in music. If the first album is rubbish that will be the end of their recording career and surely Louis and the people at Universal know this!

do you reckon their last tweet was a clue "jump jump jump"? as in jump around? If your girl steps up, I'm smacking the ho. I´m thinking of Johns smacking move (anybody remember that gif? ....it would fit in perfectly with that line. Erm, maybe not I can´t stand the Kris Kros one, but I know that whatever they take on, even if I hate it or think its a bad move for them musically, I´ll love seeing them perform it ...I´m a bit biased that way:)

I know. We're never going to be very objective. I thought POP was great but I had to ask my friend to make sure....

well I suspect we'll have a better idea what Louis got in mind for the album once the first gig on the Irish tour has played and we know the set list is.
I love they boys, I'll buy anything. but not sure I can truly get behind a load of 80/90's rap cover versions. I like the Under Pressure bit of Under Pressure/Ice Ice baby a little bit more than the ice ice baby bit tbh.
Love Pop!. Love seeing them perform ghostbusters, but I don't listen to the mp3 much.

I quite like the Jump Around song, and I can imagine John and Edward singing it and making it something of their own. I think that one would be a good one for the album. Not too sure on the MC Hammer or Ghostbusters thing though haha, I hope they do some of their own songs for it too. I look forward to that!

You know I am thinking that Louis isnt going to blab about plans for John and Edward and their album on a chat show. At least that is the thought I am clinging to because if they release MC Hammer or ghostbusters they might as well call it a day now - they will get no air play and will be made a laughing stock by the british press.
There may have to be a couple of covers fine but their next single needs to be original needs to be well produced and needs to be very very good.
An album should take a least a couple of months to record so any talk of an album release before August makes me nervous. They can't start recording it until May after the tour.
I hope for their sake that Louis has thought all this through because there will only be one chance but that will be the case for all the xfactor finalists in fairness not only J&E.

but with the Jonas Brothers song we'd actually be hearing the kind of music they are really into. I've already heard Edward do MC Hammer - ok he was meant to be cooking with the sainsbury's try team.
