^ Yep, I didn't like the marching part either, but hopefully they can sort it out..its quite ironic though that they find it difficult to dance in time with each other, given that they're twins! But you can really see how hard they're trying. Totally focused and not messing around. I just LOVE the beginning, from the mirror image thing they're doing, to John pulling Edward up and the great moves that follow in the first verse..
And Yes, the acapella press conference singing was pretty decent! The backing singers weren't really needed. I think they're had some vocal training!
And Edward's so excited! I just hope John's throat doesn't cause him any problems. He needs a long rest after this!

But you can't stop Edward throwing in his little dance moves - that would be sacrilege!
Too much co-ordination is not "Jedward" - although having seen their Bad Behaviour Tour - they certainly CAN co-ordinate their moves ! they did some amazing routines.

John is nervous. I can tell it. Several times in that rehearsal he had to see what Edward was doing. Then in the press interview he hardly said a thing. I really hope the pressure doesn't get to him. Its a good job Edward is there really.
And think -- in the X Factor days we thought it was John who was the composed, confident one. How wrong we were.
Agree the marching seems out of place but it might look good on the telly. Anyways - the first rehearsal is a chance for them to see how it'll look on TV. They'll watch it back and decide whether to change the camera angles etc. Then the 2nd rehearsal (today) will be done using any changes they decide on.

Just seen the second rehearsal....please tell me they're not going to wear those horrible robot arm jackets in the real thing!! They're such good looking boys, and those jackets make them look ridiculous! Why can't they just wear the plain red ones they wore in eurosong...so much better!

Apparently they r the official outfits they r wearing , I don't like them either but they r perfect 4 Eurovision big, bright and totally out there . If they help them stand out and get noticed it can only be a good thing i guess .

They did say they had another jacket for the final ...really shiny, blingy red. We know they love their sparkle .....esp. Edward But they do love to tease people at times.....so the ones we saw could be the final ones. Oh dear, they don't seem to have shortened the marching section, even if we are seeing it from different angles, it still obscures their faces for too long with their arms raised like that.

Yeah agree they should ditch the marching, but I guess they know what they're doing. The boys have really won over the European press and a lot of doubters which can only be a good thing. There's an amazing article I just posted in the press section: Ed's insight: bullying, alcohol, relationships etc Well I have to say I was surprised at this intelligent discussion on mainly Edward's part on so many serious topics, including school bullying, his willing to punch anyone who hurt John, alcohol, having a relationship, the future, the death of their grandfather , the way they keep each other strong etc. I applaud him for his honesty! And people say the twins are mad! They clearly know exactly what is going on: I would really recommend everyone reads this Hers's the link for the very long piece: jedwardgenius.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=press&thread=1618

I am also very proud of them. Couldn't be more happy that they're through to the final! ;D
And no, it wasn't a great semi-final. I only liked 3 songs (and that's including 'Lipstick')
Bring on Saturday! I will be voting my ass off for J&E haha

Everyone was looking forward to the last performance! Did you guys hear that massive cheer in the German audience even before they went on stage?
Think about it: They got through with no help from the UK, so the Europeans clearly love them! And so they should! SO many people wearing Jedheads last night!
They're second favourites to win. I really think they can do this! What do you guys think of the France entry? He's the favourite, but he's singing opera in French and I didn't think opera went down that well in Eurovision?
Also, one reporter said if they win, there's a deal for them to go all over Europe, which is a great start to expanding from Ireland and the UK.
One negative: That female backing singer totally ruined the song!

I also wasn't keen on the idea of them doing Eurovision but when I heard the song I got excited and thought that they could do really well with it. I've heard a lot of Jedward fans say they felt the same, which is only a good thing and also non fans saything that they like them now ;D
I think there was 19 in the first semi-final too. Same with the second SF, 10 got through. So 25 should be in the final, if I'm right that is, because of the top 5 already being through.
I don't like the french entry, not my kind of music. I don't actually think it'll do well tbh. I could be very wrong but I don't imagine that kind of song would do well.
What do you guys think of J&E performing 6?
