I really hope that they don't cover this song Not only has it been played to death in Ireland and I'm sick of it, but it just doesn't suit J&E's style. They'd have to speed up the tempo or something so it'd suit them better, but to be honest I think that it's better off left alone. If you're reading this Louis - noooooo!!

Agreed - DO NOT DO THIS. It's a boring song and Jedward are the furthest thing from boring

Just please NO.
Louis really doesn't get it - people don't WANT endless covers

Am I the only one who LOVES this song?! It's been covered by basically every single wedding band in the country but I still don't tire of it.. Plus, it'd be a good way to like, include a bit of Dublin pride into the performances

For some reason I would be up for this idea!

its first time id heard song and love it-love the lyrics, but agree it'd suit westlife more. They need something more upbeat that they can bounce about to and do some more hip shaking dance moves!

I like the song and think it would suit them to be honest! but I don't know if another cover is the best option at the moment i think some of their own material should be used first!

I like the song but I don't think it would suit the boys, at all. It's not upbeat enough.

The song isnt upbeat but it will get the crowd going! Especially the older crowd, it's sing-a-long-able aswell because pretty much everyone knows the lyrics.. I'm like, 100% behind this idea lol

I'm sure it's a joke. It certainly reads as an ironic joke. If Louis wanted to bring a fresh barrage of hatred and derision down on the boy's heads, then no better way to do it than to cover this song. A song written after a period when their band had fallen apart while on the brink of huge success and Dignam had come out of some pretty bleak times with his drug abuse etc...Getting the boys to cover this would just make them into an object of mockery. Plus, Dignam is a professionally trained Bel Canto singer - vocally twenty thousand leagues ahead of where the boys are at the moment. The song is way beyond them vocally. I really hope they don't do this. There are many people waiting to tear them down and a cover like this would give haters plenty of ammunition

I'd never heard of the band before, and when I read "Aslam" I immediately thought of a Bollywood band or something, that'd have been way funnier!
I don't like the song and pretty much agree that it wouldn't suit them with the people who have said that, and that it'd be best to have original material!!

Aslan are tedious and boring and this is someone's idea of sick, unfunny joke. The released one half decent song about 20 years ago 'This Is'. About 15 years ago they released 'Crazy World' and have been releasing it consistently every single f*ckin' year since. 'Crazy World 99', 'Crazy World 2004', the 'Super Deluxe Crazy World remix 2008'. Jesus wept....
If I go to hell, Aslan will definitely be the soundtrack for my eternity in the fiery depths.
