In Ireland, at the date I went to, the people who had waited outside the venue all day got to have a meet and greet. Backstage passes would be a bit harder.. I guess that'd be a competition if anything

They usually arrive at the venue around 3:30 - 4:00, so that's another good way to get to meet them if you're doing any of the last tour dates

Airports especially if they're flying out - they spend lots of time with fans apparently whilst they wait. I've never gone on an airport crave so I don't know proper but yeah, people get lots of photos when they do this.

Airports are usually quite good if you know for deffo they're flying out/in. They usually get to spend a bit of time with fans if they're not overly in a rush..
Other ways are just the usual, wait around before/after shows, tv appearences etc..

who gives out the wristbands and how long before the shows do they give them out x The guys from Aiken, the promoters, often have them and you have to be there all afternoon and just get lucky. Everyone that was waiting at Letterkenny yesterday, about 50 people, got in at about 5pm No idea what will happen in UK though as Aiken are an Irish promotion company.

The way I got meet and greet passes to Castlebar was through a comp on Facebook. But actually on the second day they were there, they went to Penneys and Heatons!
