Marguerite, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the time they get to Cork, last night was pretty blinding! I never cease to be amazed by how quickly they learn, improve and correct stuff. If they're not careful people will call them polished! For those of you that haven't seen, I'm uploading 1 or 2 vids from each night. Check out bad romance from last night cos their dancing is funny. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SH4Qywd_HwRest of them: www.youtube.com/user/Akka69Pic from yesterday:

Last night was amazing - all the bad stuff i saw here and tweeted made me think it would be dreadful - sooooo wasn't. Yes there was backing track probs but the boys still bloody entertained. Bye Bye Bye was amazing but I don't understand why Ke$ha was picked - the lyrics were not meant for a bloke to sing.
Edward SHINED on Bad Romance - amazing dancing and he did this dead cute bum wiggle when he sang "Boys trying to touch my junk" bit of Tik Tok - so funny.
The best seats I've ever had - 2nd Row so we got a lot of attention from the boys (especially John who was so interactive with the front rows)

Hi, they often get to venues about 4pm and have the meet and greets at 5.00 / 5.30pm for an hour. At Castlebar last time they stayed at the hotel which is actually joined to the venue so you may be able to catch them going in there earlier too.

Sorry for lack of real reviews, tour has been a bit mad, we've spent lots of time with Jed fans and travelling and not having decent net etc. Will try and do one at some point as most shows are pretty similar. The Dublin based shows were great as there were so many people over and there. I reckon prob a good 50 of us that all knew each other from twitter etc. It's been awesome. Now we're off road tripping in the hire car and nice hotels, and it feels like a holiday, seeing new places. Kilkenny today was a lovely little town. Tonight was jepic. We had water guns for Ghostbusters. We knew Katie, Laura and Ste were gonna get the twins so me and Julie pre-prepared the boys and gave them our 2 (bigger) ones first! John then also stole Ste's and had 2. We all got pretty wet, us and the boys, and had lots of fun. I've uploaded 5 vids from tonight, check out as usual: www.youtube.com/user/Akka69Off to Limerick tomorrow to the beautiful Uni campus and awesome venue that was our fave last time, can't wait.

Quick update on the Irish tour - my experience I've seen 5 shows now, they've all been different in terms of the energy level and engagement with the audience. Castlebar tonight had quite a relaxed attitude to kids coming down the front and standing on seats, so the energy was positive and the twins didn't have to work to get the audience on their feet. That meant they put a lot of focus into their dancing and vocals and it was technically a really strong show. Highlights for me as usual were the improvised parts ... - a complete recreation of the first audition ... John and Edward a year on doing the whole thing again. Waiting in the wings together, then coming onstage 'Castlebar are you ready to partay?' 'I see myself being older' 'John Edward whatever', then the singing, and all Simon's, Danni's, Cheryl's, and Louis' reactions. Clearly the one they loved most was Louis saying 'you look like pop stars'. - Edward visited Narnia round the back of the stage ... while there he married Britney and they had 4 children and it was a good year for them, neither of them shaved their heads this year - throwing chewed chewing gum into the audience, that one always amuses me - Edward added some ballet moves to the ATST choreography - John went into the audience for his daily run and got about as far as row 2 ... he looked very happy surrounded by adoring fans The bit we were most concerned about at the start of the tour - singing over the original artist tracks - doesn't seem to be pulling the set back, indeed to me some of these songs are the most interesting of the set. Both John and Edward are really enjoying getting behind the sexual lyrics in Sexy Back and Everybody and there is definitely a more 'adult' part of the show emerging. Bye Bye Bye also has a more adult feel, the lyric is quite caustic at times ... 'Fight for your Right' is for me the climax of the show - deliciously rebellious and relevant for all ages My wish for the rest of 2010 is that they get some original songs and develop the fun loving but more adult flirty side of their show.
