Love the pic but it just doesn't suit the song and it doesn't go with the whole 'planet' vibe either.
I just hope this song sells thb

Listened to it a good 50 times today so far. Two things are bugging me about it though. Firstly, why do they sing "Truth care, truth brings" when it should be "True care, truth brings". It doesn't make sense. Secondly, that rap bit just sounds cringy to me no matter how many times I hear it. I think that's the part of the song non-fans are going to pick at negatively when they hear it and there's just no real need for it to be there. The other stuff they've added during that part is really cool and fits into the song really well, whereas the little rap just comes out of nowhere and sounds awful. I hope that was just them voicing over it on the radio, but the quality is so crappy on my speakers I can't actually tell!

I really hope that they didn't read it either, my feeling is that they may have. All that negative shite is damaging.

Oh crap! i really hope that isint them, they shouldnt have to read that stuff They've read a lot worse, and I bet it doesn't bother them at all now, if it ever did. It's so true that it's all cartoon stuff and unreal in the media, and if you are subjected to it day in day out you really harden to it and don't take it personally. And it really is better to have a full on negative review than bugger all review at all... all press really is good press.

except peadophilia...
Seriously, I ran an indie record label for 5 years, there was nothing worse than after all that work of getting a release out and a) not getting a review at all (soul destroying) or b) getting a bland boring review that said nothing of any interest at all. Those are the crap journos you wanna punch.
With the bad reviews you could spin them, laugh at them, get publicity with them, go back and have an absolute barney with the journo if you hated them, go back and win them over with if you liked them etc etc
But what you learnt quickly was it's just a review, it's just an opinion on a song, nobody is gonna like everything, it's all part of the circus that is the music industry. No-one dies if you get a bad one. Some are constructive and funny and actually brilliant even if a bad review. You should see some of Steel Panther's interviews for NME after they got 2 out of 10 for the album, bloody hilarious, they've made a total joke out of it and get loads of press coverage from the NME now, still getting it a year later.
Also just cos one journo doesn't like it at one particular station / magazine, doesn't mean they all do, it's the luck of the draw who reviews it. You have to be smart and sniff out the supporters and target them.
And also, some of the bigger stuff in mags and playlists... you have to pay for. Awful as it is, if you aint paying the readies to big press agents to basically get reviews/airplay for you, you're not gonna get the coverage. It sucks. They offered one of my bands a front cover on a national rock mag once... £15,000! We laughed.
