Jedward have officially pulled out of Clacton. I recieved a phonecall from the venue. John and Edward are so good and were obvs the main reason for sales that they're being replaced with...
Stavros Flatley Lloyd Daniels Rikki Loney Nicola McLean and someone else I hadn't heard of

And they are definitely refusing to offer refunds for the gig.

Probably a little bit late but a local newspaper has reported that they have only pulled out of the gig at the last minute. Haha, I love these lines:- But now they've snubbed Clacton after landing a last-minute slot supporting Westlife in Ireland. But names such as Lloyd Daniels, Rikki Loney and Stacey McClean are unlikely to be crowd-pullers like the pop twins. Poor Lloyd. www.clactonandfrintongazette.co.uk/news/8189505.Jedward_pull_out_of_Clacton_gig/

It wasn't last minute at all lol. Croke Park was booked before Clacton was. These journalists never do their job right

Obviously I feel bad for people who brought clacton tickets, but we'd all rather the boys played Croke Park with Westlife than some crappy x factor thing. My absolute favourite bit is them insisting the "line up is better with out them" but it takes 3 -4 acts to replace them! ha ha.

Recorded letter to venue quoting consumer protection did the trick, just got this...
We would like to offer you a full refund on your tickets of the XFactor. Please send your tickets back to us at seawick, once we receive we will then make full payment to yourself. Thanks Emma Moulton Events Co-Ordinator

Just some news I heard from The Venue, aparantly john and edward were set to play croke park, then come to clacton in the evening, but they got an offer to play with Boyzone in the evening, so they're doing that instead. i'm not saying it was john and edwards choice, the management obviously decided they'd rather play with boyzone in croke park then a little place in clacton. but refunds are coming in so thats good.
