looking good ;D the ground colour for the skin in perfect and I love how their eyes looks just like theirs. they eyes are so important and you make them so good!

Latest update. I've added more glazes and started putting shadow in on John. I'll be going over the dark bits again though, so it won't actually be this dark. The submission date is June, and this will take me several weeks to do!

You mention "submission date" what is that about?

It's taken about 8 hours so far. It's a slow but fantastically enjoyable process, even it things start going 'wrong'....then you just have to stay with it and get back into a sort of 'zone'. Gonna do some more now

You mention "submission date" what is that about? The date when I submit it to the exhibition - I'll need to send it digitally. Then a panel will decide if it goes to the next stage when the actual painting is submitted. I'll find out then if it's been accepted. I hope it is.....but if not for this exhibition, there are lots of others. One thing is for sure, it WILL get into an exhibition in the summer
