The Apollo Gallery in Dublin have a print of the boys for sale by Tom Byrne...they must be famous!! The picture is at the bottom of the page in the link. apolloartgallery.newsweaver.ie/apolloartgalleryweeklynewsletter/bw2zmgxbmsqI just remembered that Louis bought a painting of the boys recently from a Dublin gallery (I think it was mentioned on this forum) perhaps it was the original of this picture.

Good luck with your new work..just a thought, perhaps you should consider a signed and numbered limited edition!

Heck, I even pick apart Van Gogh's, Hockney's etc ;D I am very critical. But I genuinely don't like that painting....I don't think he's captured them at all Yes, it would be nice to have prints, but they're expensive to do. You have to have Giclee prints. I might be able to do a short run I guess.

I'm so bad that art stuff. I generally think all paintings where you can actually see who it's suppose to be is good lol sorry to say painted portraits usually fail to really "wow" me, might be cuz I'm schooled in photography. I love abstract and futuristic art thou

I love abstract and futuristic art thou I like abstract too. I like some portraits, especially ones by Chuck Close and Lucian Freud. I don't like the colours that artist has used. And I don't like their faces. I'm not sure if he wanted it to look like them or not?

Give number one to the boys and get them to countersign the others I am sure they would sell like hot cakes, with the captive market John & Edward have at the moment. I agree there is a lot of questionable art which is very subjective to the beholder, if that makes sense.

I think that painting's a bit cr@p to be honest... Edward doesn't look like himself at all in it EDIT: I've just realised - so much bad grammar in this post...what have those boys done to me?!

I know what would *really* be cool....if they had an artist in residence to document their tour.

As they say nothing ventured nothing gained I think with the press you had about being a fan and the painting you gave to the boys, you should try and get them to sit for you (if they would keep still for five minutes) when you go to Ireland for their tour; even if you only get an opportunity to take a few stills with a camera. From those shots you can paint your “Masterpiece” and issue the exclusive limited editions.

I think it is suppose to look like them, it's just not very well done. the artist probably haven't studied them in detail for hours and days like we have anyway it's cool that people take interest in them and do thing like this. and looking forward to see your painting

I did tweet them about sitting for me ;D I also keep tweeting that I want profile pics of them done with their phone so I can see them enlarged.....to no avail though. I've sent a pic of my painting, along with other photos, for the latest article. I *hope* they print it, more so than this bloomin' van!

The one I'm doing now is 2ft by 3ft so is pretty big! I'm going to be using gold again, as well as some glittery bits.....how can I not? It's John and Edward!!
