Row over 'cheating' claims

It's a load of rubbish if you ask me. Basically it's saying that they were drowned out by backing vocals and a pre-recorded backing track.

I think people will believe this for the simple fact that their vocals were better this week. It just annoys me when the press make up stories like this!

They had a backing track, along with the other acts. You coud still hear them more than you could hear Olly... These stories are just urgh. It's, like, so cool to cuss John and Edward.

And if you think about it, who in the right mind would jeprodise their position on the UK's biggest television show by going to the papers with that? They also said that when they were in the Bottom Two that they had 'help from backing vocals'. Backing vocals are in the song, are they not?

Yeah this kind of article annoys me. To anyone who thinks John & Edward can't sing I say, watch the Sky News interview. They sung live with no backing and they were in tune! ;D

The more I read about this the more I think it's gonna fuck them up. People seemed to warm to them after Saturday's performance but now people seem to believe this story and we're back to square one

It was in her papers that she was dating a producer of the show (he worked on the show, but he worked on seating arrangements or something) and that week, she was booted off. I know that the judges voted her off, but the week before she was favourite to win.

Yeah, they were good this week so people are just trying to stir up crap.
It's not fair on them really because they can never be right in the critics eyes, i thought they were great this week!

Every week their is a new conspiracy theory in the newspapers. Either the voting is rigged, Simon has set up the twins to win, they were miming, the song choices are not fair, etc. All of it lies. At the end of the day who cares what anyone else thinks, as long as the Jedward fans are happy forget the haters. Newspapers are just jealous.

They say they were enhanced by the backing track but if you watch them doing the rap acapella on Sky News, IMO at least, it was a much stronger performance!
