okay so we got off on a bad foot, so here's a little bit about myself and rodchenko to start afresh with you all!
We are two fashion students studying in London and we are delighted to say that although previously members of the same friendship group, we have been brought together by our love of the two angels better known as John and Edward Grimes. I can safely say it was love at first sight, that first audition. The impeccable choice of song(harking back to our days as teeny-boppers), the sense of humor and the total confidence in themselves. We followed their xfactor journey avidly, favourite performance's being she bangs (rodchenko) and oops i did it again/under pressure for me(oops i did it again really sealed the deal for me as heroes in my eyes).
Okay so anyway wham week - no. 7 after the show we created a fly poster campaign around soho. I do photography so we used a pretty raunchy photo from one of my shoots and fly-posted them around soho with 'call for two hot blondes' scrawled on them along with the telephone number for that week - in the style of prostitute calling cards (our thinking being all the drunk men leaving clubs with the horn would see them and call therefore voting for the boys) this clearly didn't work as it was the week they were booted out. which was double gutting as we posted them in urinals and everything, super gross. we also have photos of this adventure if anyone would like to see?
we also had a night (it was the saturday before the showstudio photoshoot) and we both sat in my bedroom for about four hours and watched every single john and edward video from the first audition to no matter what. okay so we're probably nerds. whatevs, s'all about the jedluv!
erm what else.....
i tend to lean more towards favouring edward and roddy to john (although we don't really have a favourite, just gotta make plans for if they fall in love with us
)
my fave quote is the eggs-factor vid "throw it in! throw it in!" and fave photo is a screenshot from the showstudio shoot, which has special meaning to us both because we were there and john tapped on the mirror to us both at the end!!!! still pretty much the best moment of my life! and it wasn't even full contact!
i'm totally rambling so I'll stop but ask us anything else you'd like to know! and we'll dig out the photos from the poster night to show y'all!
