The thing is - by the time this tour happens - everything to do with the X-Factor is over... J&E will finally be able to distance themselves from the whole thing.
It is likely they'll sing the X-Factor songs because they know them and know that we love them - in the club circuit - We Will Rock You and She Bangs got ignored. I'd love to see them back.
I can't remember the source of the 18 song set but it was mentioned in the other Irish thread. New songs will be included I'm sure. Especially if the boys are carrying lyric sheets around with them throughout the X-Factor tour - practice makes perfect

They did 7 songs on X Factor, 8 if you include No Matter What, but I doubt they'll sing that one, which leaves 11 songs - the kind of amount of songs you'd get on an album.
They could just be doing some covers, but with the 'revelation' of the fact they were carrying lyrics around last night, it kind of all makes sense that it will be their own songs. However, why would they sing them if the album hadn't even been released yet. It would just give it all away and ruin the surprise when you get the album. :/ Unless the album is being released sooner than we think, although I'm sure not because they won't have time to do any promotion for it, and we probably would have known by now anyway.
Hmm.. it's quite confusing really, but I reckon the rumour of 18 songs is true. This is a proper tour, so they can't exactly just sing 7 songs.

We should ask them what we can expect from the Irish Tour next time they do a #jedwardtalk session on twitter.

John told someone tonight they'll be singing 16 songs in Ireland - could be an over exaggeration.
