Joe's not really that stand out ish tho is he? Like, you'd notice john & ed a mile off but Joe could easily be any random dude on a train.. doubt his career is over tho. he's talented & he's working on his album, so we can't judge til then. hope it goes well for him tho he's a nice dude

Hmm… I think I’m going to sit on the fence and choose the ‘maybe’ option. I definitely think that Joe is talented and he seems like a lovely chap, but I think that he has a couple of things working against him: 1. If his debut album is full of ballads, it might not appeal to some people and unless he offers something fairly distinctive, he will be in danger of fading into obscurity. Of course, ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ isn’t a ballad but if they decide to put that on the album, it’ll be compared to the Glee version. 2. People who watch X-Factor and vote for contestants are not necessarily the target audience. For example, my grandmother decided to watch X-Factor this year and she took a liking to Joe because he seemed “sweet”, but she sure as hell isn’t going to buy his album or anything. Remember: Steve “who?” Brookstein won X Factor too. In essence, I’m concerned that Joe’s album will turn out to be one of those that you buy your Mum for Christmas, if you know what I mean…and of course, the success of the album will dictate his career. Having said that, Boyzone/Westlife, etc are a bit like that and they’re really successful so… dunno mate. *Shrug*

Joe- he's really nice and all, got a lovely voice, don't think he's got a lot of personality though. It's funny how John & Edward have steamed ahead of him by miles, having done their own tour and everything!! I used to be a Joe fan but once I met J&E everything changed. They've got the real talent, looks and personality, I could list 101+ reasons why they're better than Joe and I'm sure y'all know them already OK, much as i adore Jedward... Joe has the real talent.. he's got an absolutely fantastic voice.. Jedward don't... not terrible.. but not good. They have talent - so very entertaining.. but not with their singing. Joe has got 'real talent' there, and like Jedward he has looks too, and a lovely person x x
