Got there and timed it perfectly for the start of the soundcheck. Went to one of the gates and the guy there let me watch. John was going for it but Ed’ard was just flapping about a bit and not trying hard, then went off hand flipping on the grass! Sound was dreadful. Went round to meet Kayleigh and bumped into Trixy too. Me and Kayleigh decided to get tix and go in now we were there. 3 stands had sold out but we got in the standing one at the end and got to front. Endured Jedward abuse from staff (unprofessional) and little kids behind us (how are they gonna grow up?? I wanted to deck their dad for not pulling them about it). Tedious. It was a bit mad when they were on cos all the teams were out too, bit chaotic on the pitch. They bounced around but the sound was lousy and there were big boos after each song: Rock DJ, Ghostbusters, UP. Spot the guys.... ?! Had to zoom in a lot so not good quality, sorry. Wolfie the mascot danced and high fived with them and did the crotch thrusting dance which made us laugh. Wolfie… As soon as they finished we legged it back to their car to wait. Anto was cool and told us where to go to see them so we trundled off to wait for them. They came out and said they’d not go until they’d met everyone and then started working it. Lots of pics and autographs etc. There was a little lad in front of me (about 5 years old) and his mum had no camera or paper or owt, so when the guys came to us I sorted out a pic for him with them with my camera and have emailed it to him, and gave them stuff to sign for him. Made his day. "Let me see how you spell it" "Stop copying off me, spell it yourself" Got the biggest hug off John, and Edward noticed I’d had my hair cut. John apologized for having a dirty coat as they’d just flown from Ireland. ?? Not sure what that has to do with him being scuzz bucket. ;-) Their scars were really noticeable today as they didn’t have so much make up on. John took a couple of pics of us. Lauren there was a funny bit with your dad, dunno if you heard? He said that he should go get the car so you could follow theirs, and your mum told him off and said he was as bad as you or something! They tried to get them to leave and into the car several times but the boys were having none of it. John was literally manhandled into the car eventually! Really glad I bothered to go now, it was a bit of fun and nice to see them.

Well they made at least £20k or thereabouts for an hour's work, which is more than the majority of those shit-kicking inbreds in the stands make in a year. They who laugh last laugh all the way to the bank. Grasshopper.

and Edward noticed I’d had my hair cut. I loveeeeee this! Edward was like hiiiiiii, ohh you dont normally wear your hair curly like that! hahaha it made me laugh! I love how they have so many fans they see and they notice little things and remember you from weeks! And like you said really glad i went. When anto was sat in the car and security seemed to be moaning about letting any of us move i had images of them just being thrown in the car but the boys and anto and darren were gooood. Worth the little trip down!! I noticed a few people off here but couldnt put faces to names or anything im rubbish! Will post a pic from today if it lets me laterr

Darren was funny. He refused to take the pic for John of us cos he told John he had to stop and get in the car so John just went 'whatever, I'll do it then' and then really fought with Darren for ages as he tried to get him in the car. I love how Darren's face never cracks and he just repeats himself in the vain (and futile) hope they may listen before he literally grabs them and shoves them in the car. John was being very assertive and almost rebellious today I thought, dunno if the booing had him riled up?

He was probably riled up with the booing and tired from all the travelling. The security guys prob get tired too ! What about Edward was he rebellious ? I can't imagine it - he's used to being bossed around all the time by John !!

Really wish I had gone to this now, hate not having any friends that like Jedward, everyone's stories are amazing! Glad you all had fun ;D Yeah I hate that none of my friends are Jedward obsessed, because then I have go with my parents. Which is okay but it'd be better if I was with friends. My friends like them but none of them are like obsessed. Two of my friends went the game today but they went to watch the rugby as well. Oh well, it's just a good job my parents understand my love for John and Edward ;P

Thanks for sharing your stories. Great pictures everyone. Those boys are just so polite and adorable towards their fans; they make everyone feel so special.
I agree, it was rather a strange venue to play - but kudos to them for taking it on and putting up with the abuse, when they could have had more time at home with their family.
