I love the fact that the boys aren't taking a blind bit of notice of the judges comments either, cos when Simon says 'my initial reaction was, what the bloody hell was that?', John starts talking about how Edward boxed him in the nose during the song!! Don't think he realised the mega effect Oopswas going to have on their popularity ;D It seems to be washing over Edward completely but when Cheryl makes the 'thoroughly entertaining' comment I thought at first John said 'thank you' but is that a sarcastic 'I know'? Cheryl was as besotted as we are ;D Just look at her licking her lips in the intro The following week was when she made her 'guilty pleasure' remark - I bet she'd spent all week rewatching it and checking out their videos just like I did!! In fact I wouldn't be surprised if she posts here!!!

Well done Danni, you just kicked the Andrex puppy there. How does it feel? This is brilliant! Hating on John and Edward in general is just so perfectly comparable to kicking the Andrex puppy. Why would you do it? Sure he's a little hyperactive and somewhat prone to toilet-paper-related hijinx, but HE WUVS YOU!

I'm not sure if it was sarcastic, I noticed he often said 'thank you' to Dannii and Cheryl after they made not very nice comments to them. He's probably trying to show that he's taking their comments on board?? Hard to tell really!

Edward's spastic kick at the death of the song when he's on that brass luggage carrier . That kick deserves its own thread. yes it does - with one kick of his leg Edward made me fall in love ;D his timing is impeccable, I don't care what they say!!

Woohooo!! My new favourite thread. Thank you sparkle ;D Who do you think Simon is looking at at 0.25? I bet anything it's Friedman ;D I need to know everything about the process of how this came about. Louis chooses the song, right? Did he ask the twins for suggestions? Did Friedman suggest it? I need to know!! One thing I was aware of at the time was that Louis hadn't been there all week as he was grieving Stephen Gately and then attending the funeral. I'm sure he agreed the song choice, probably this was already in the bag before he left, but he wasn't there to QA the choreography or the in-tuneness of the vocal in the dress rehearsal, and of course he wasn't at the performance showing support. They were really very isolated that week I think, and Brian must have had more influence than usual with Louis out of the picture. Another thing I noticed but I may be wrong is the tempo seems slower than I'd expect. I wonder if it was deliberately slowed to make it easier for them to manage the vocal and the moves? All really interesting points, especially about the slower tempo. I think you might be right there. They were stranded that week, but it worked out for the best. Brian Friedman made the twins the sensation they now are, they really couldn't have done it without him. They now need another Brian Friedman to look after them when they have singles being released.

I always assumed improvised, but recently I rewatched and noticed its technically a little tricky to deliver on the luggage trolley, as he has to move his right leg quite a lot and the thing is on wheels - so I'm in 2 minds because I don't doubt for an instant he'd be capable of improvising it, but at the same time the dancers don't seem surprised. so not sure ...

This was only week 2 and most people, myself included, still hadn't worked out who was who, because let's face it you needed to be motivated to watch the videos on the x factor site to work it out That kick gave me the motivation ;D

Edward kicked Jedward into awareness levels they couldn't have hoped for, even with the rest of Oops. That kick was the key to their triumph!

They boys actually did really well to time re-starting the song after the talky bit perfectly, considering how ropey their timing was during most of the performance.
It'll be great if they do it again on tour and give a really good performance, to show how much they've improved.

He really is a master at it ;D
