Another bad journalist by the look of things I din;t like the interviewer! I think the boys may well have picked up on some hostile vibes and resorted to their 'what's a..../whimsically random interview style. It seems to be their fallback position when they're not entirely comfortable with the interviewer I think he's fair enough though in admitting that he is rather charmed by them, even against his will Getting someone closer to their own age to interview them may not have been such a great idea in hindsight...

Awww, its not too bad an interview - at least the interviewer admits he's not really a fan from the get go, but he acknowledges that they're genuinely nice guys.
Its kind of weird how interviewers seem kind of intimidated by them being so talkative, plus I've seen a lot of people make comments on how many questions they ask themselves in interviews. I would have thought most interviewers would be thankful to have people who are actually talkative and chatty to interview.
How old is the interviewer? Does it say or did I miss it??

I thought that interview was okay actually. The fact that he didnt like them but at the same time didnt really insult them as people was a good thing.. Thats the thing with a lot of people. Dont really get the whole amazingness about them but do geniunley think they're nice lads..

Yeah, I didn't think it was *the* greatest interview ever but the bit about being identical did make me smile - I imagined the twins being like, but *we* know we're different, does that mean we're not identical?? Haha.

I loved that interview actually, I think sometimes when journalists appear to be taking the piss out of the twins they're just going along with the joke that "OMG they're so crazy!!!".

I love the stories from the spoof The latest one about Dorothy is funny Or do they know everything - including the major source of their fan-base? In which case they might be far brighter than they appear.
Doh! ;D www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s4i68841

The Herald interview is clearly John and Edward reverting to their dumb ingenue act which they do whenever they face hostility or derision from a journalist. As if they truly don't understand the difference between identical or fraternal, or more to the point don't know that twins are the same age. This is one of their tactics I've noticed along with completely ignoring or not answering questions they don't wish to or answering a different question not actually asked. One thing which is evident in all interviews is how much they actively control the interview, and how they would rather appear practically special needs than be led into an area they don't wish to go into. The Herald interviewer was "too cool for school" and obviously enamoured with how clever he liked to believe he was, Jedward were happy to let him keep believing this and let a potentially dangerous line of questioning slip into inane conversation.

I can only see pictures no writing when I click on the link. Is that right? Click on the image again and it should expand. Its probably not zoomed in for you. Thats the first I've heard of this flying over the audience routine. It sounds very exciting if they can pull it off.

Nope, click and just the nice pictures across the top. flying over the audience instead of just droping down on wires for Rock DJ would be amazing. Perhaps it'll depend on the venue.
