I love it. They've copied Olly Murs like but it's very good. Very Jedward above all.
The only change I'd make is if they were making different faces/poses rather than multiplying the one image. It reminds me of the video they showed behind They Don't Care About Us on the Bad Behaviour tour and I LOVED that

Humm I don't know, I don't really like the cover. Too much white and I don't like the 'V' of 'Victory' well actually I don't like the whole font of it... And I don't think John looks chinese *goes checking img again* well okay he does, and he does look a bit angry in a mocking way... Edward looks like he's a lifeless puppet, but I think that's kinda cool I just hope it'll look better in reality.

It reminds me of the video they showed behind They Don't Care About Us on the Bad Behaviour tour and I LOVED that I loved that backdrop for TDCAU - the whole performance for that was fantastic - each time i saw it i wondered just how long John could manage before he started to giggle - it was never long haha one of my favourite staged songs of the BB tour - and there were some good'ens on that tour

Well, I for one think it's a fantastic cover. Here's why:
There's so much symbolism hidden in it. The marching multipe figures show the enormous long road they've been on and just how far they've come. The final images emphasise the fact they're not going anywhere anytime soon! It's an edless journey for them and they'll keep going for as long as THEY want to.
As for the facial expressions, they are perfect too. As lovely as their smiles are and as funny as their poses can be, this shows them as focused, determined and serious, which is how they see their album and want everyone else to see it to. If they were pictured being crazy and out there, that would have been at odds with how seriously they've taken their music career. John's look is strong, and kind of suggests that he's not going to take things lying down. The bullying is a thing of the past. Edward's expression is classic Edward! He does tend to use that expression a lot when he's not smiling or laughing. It contrasts well with the look on John's face, which is important because there's no point having the J and E if they're not going to show their individuality as the same time.
Simultaneously, their images are presented in parallel, right next to each other, which highlights the fact that this is a shared road, a journey they've been on together, as will continue to be the case. This enforces their unity and their bond over all else, which is why the JEDWARD name is the biggest thing on the cover and all of the figures are marching under it.
The V for Victory symbol ties in with the American cheerleading theme. There's a lot of hidden Vs also- such as, in their red collars, the shape of the army etc. Although they're not American, the cheerleading element applies very well here. They're been cheered on, as well as booed, but they're focusing on the cheers and the support. This conveys a message to all the fans, friends and family who have stood by their dreams and helped them reach their goals. It's a silent shout out to their "army of support", which of course links to the cloned marching figures ("an army"). Without them, they wouldn't have been "Victorious" after all.
On the other hand, it's all down to them- their hard work, their sacrifice, their determination- which has led them to this moment- this moment of "Victory!"

Great analysis I agree with everything you said and I do quite like the concept of the cover --- it's really just the font they used for "Victory" that annoys me. And the fact that they've airbrushed John's face out of recognition But I absolutely love the title of the album - it's SO perfect for them

Oh, and I say let Edward direct the next video Seriously, the boy's a legend with the editing software. I ADORED that Paris video for 'Lipstick' (so fun, happy-making, and quirky), long before I knew it was his own work! I was even telling people what a great conceptual and editing job someone had done on it (though I was also wondering why the crew on this apparently "professional" video hadn't brought some emergency hair spray to the top of the Eiffel Tower!! lol.) Oh wow I had no idea Edward edited that himself! That just makes me love them so much more. I love how hands on and involved they are. I think the Bad Behaviour video would’ve been much better without the intro and the perez bit. It felt like they couldn’t really decide on one concept and instead decided to cobble together a bunch of random ideas. I liked the dancing, the party, and of course Edward’s smile at the end. But I don’t know… I’m pretty disappointed overall and I don’t think it does justice to “Bad Behaviour”. Ever since I heard the preview they uploaded I knew it had potential to be a hit.

Stranger.. Agreed to all what you said. I love the artwork aswell more than the Victory name itself but its the concept or thoughts behind it.. and John dont look chinese - its a classic John and Edward face actually.Regarding the multiple figures they could have use different images to recapture the journey but IM going to hope they have that on the rest of the album cover
And they did not copied olly murs album cover .. grrrrrrrr! its best to say they picked up that concept from TDCAU video which was really superb.

But I don’t know… I’m pretty disappointed overall and I don’t think it does justice to “Bad Behaviour”. Ever since I heard the preview they uploaded I knew it had potential to be a hit. For all we know they weren't best pleased with some aspect of the BB video. Obviously they have to talk it up in interviews, but there was one interview where Edward began to go off on one about things they wanted to do which they weren't allowed to do on the shoot, then he stopped himself. I actually think they need to start taking more credit for the stuff they do. They design and customise a lot of their own outfits, have a big input into the look and staging of their shows and didn't Liam say that they did the incredible backdrop for their ESC performance (presumably they did the concept work, since a Dublin company seems to claim credit for the editing -- still an astonishing achievement, that was easily the best backdrop of the night). Although I know this would risk them never actually getting any sleep ever again (!), I really think they should do all their future videos themselves. (Doing the "Lipstick" video themselves seems to have been a matter of necessity, RTE weren't going to spend money on a good video and the set of stills interspersed with clips of the twins' Eurosong preformance that was initially the 'official' vid was dire). If their label could publicise the fact they were behind their own videos, it would be great publicity and a great selling point for them and would undercut the 'talentless twins' talk big time. No other prominent act does that afaik. "Lipstick" was a quality video and very different to other material on the market, and Edward is only going to get better at what he does as he gets older and more experienced. Oh and I agree with every word of what Stranger says about the album cover: their individuality, their journey, their fearlessness, their seriousness, are all are well brought out in it.

He told us he felt it could be better. Anyone could've directed that video better. I didn't like it. Clearly they're going for a more mature image with this new album and the video just took them back to childishness. They're trying to act their age but people "in the know" seem to wanna make them 13 again which will NEVER work.

As a fanbase I think we all agree that no one will take them seriously until they are represented appropriately and if they continue to be portrayed as young kids the haters will continue to accuse them of being immature and stuff and we know this isn't them. I think TPTB should listen to them more and let them have more control over their image. They seem to have a very clear vision of what they want and I think their management should trust them with it.

Haters gonna hate...... I don't know, I know quite a lot of people that see them as mature. Even like very old people. But then there's the haters and I think they talk a lot (of shit).
Oh, and about the videothing. Edward's editing skills are amazing. I think he should do more videos. Imagine him sitting on one of these black chairs and comanding people around ;PPP and then he'd be sitting in a dark room with his laptop for like 3 days straight and editing everything. hahahaha

I saw that, I think -- the one with the silhouettes of their heads? I think that was someone's fan art. It was stylish and professional, but just someone on twitter being creative, nothing official.

Yeah that one. It was a good art work tho. I thought that art was the cover for their album before they showed us the "real" cover album. Thanks for clearing that up.
