I think it's highly unlikely that John's gay. I don't even know if Edward is. But I've noticed something, has Edward gotten more 'gay' after he left X Factor or is it just me?
As I see it, it's after X Factor he became so feminin. Is it just a part of an act maybe or is it just all a natural development? John has also changed. In their first audition, he was really confident, a little over the top. Sure he loves talking during interviews but he didn't talk much during the X Factor food making scenes or in Jedward Let Loose.
While Edward was completely hysterical and talked like a waterfall in the kitchen during their stay on X Factor, John was completely quiet and actually made the food while Edward was all busy talking.

John has shown himself to be much shyer than Edward. During the X Factor people thought it was the other way around because John did most the talking in interviews. These days Edward talks AND talks over John when he starts to say something.
Edward is one of those people who is always doing or saying something. When you're talking to him he's moving about - he only stands still when he has something to say to you. He's more likely to misbehave too - when Liam says they have to go John goes immediately when Edward will push Liam to his limit and stay around for as long as he possibly can.
Edward is hilarious - his one liners are amazing E.g. "Who turned on the light? Oh wait, it's just Simon's teeth" My opinion is that in person when he isn't on stage Edward is not camp in the slightest. On stage when he's dancing - he's very camp. I think it has become his stage persona. It defo didn't start coming out until their first tour of Ireland in April.
Also, If Edward doesn't like something then he'll tell you so. He wasn't happy with the Easter Eggs and told fans this. He also expressed negativity towards the book. John is a lot more reserved and won't tell fans stuff like this.
John is the sensible one. A group of us were with them at a hotel on tour and even though Edward would have stayed with us for much longer after about twenty minutes John was the one that broke it up and decided for the two of them to split from us.
Now a year has passed it's getting easier for fans to realise the differences in personalities. They're both unbelievably smart - especially in their career. Almost everything they do is all them. The hair, the clothes and when you see the covers they do on YouTube (Truly Madly Deeply, Sexy Back, A thousand Miles) you understand how incredibly talented they are.
I think they're amazing. I really do - they deserve to be around for a while.

Hrmm well, I think all of the fans have realised Edward's slightly 'camp' dancing on stage, and his feminine quirks, but we don't view it in a bad way. We sorta, think it's cute? It's something that makes Edward...Edward! I guess it defines him from John, because even identical twins have differences. And as for the physical side, yeah, they have big hair and the crazy outfits, but that's why we love them? If they wore the same trackies and trainers, we wouldn't really notice them. Besides, it's their style and they're working it! I don't see anyone else like them, which is a shame, because I like guys with cool hair and colourful suits Long story short, they're unique <3

^yeah i agree. we've all just accepted the fact that edward can be really camp onstage, that's just who he is and we love him for that, whereas john isn't and we love him for that as well. i love all their outfits as well.
i'm not particularly bored by anything they've done/are doing yet...i suppose everyone's different but i love them and i'm still really enjoying them.

I totally agree with some one ho said that they er different in xfactor. Even their tone of voice was much more low and the didn't say 'like' as much. That makes me think that they are acting like this to get ppl to talk about them and I think they putting this innocent act on too. I remember one interview where John was dancing suggestly to a pussycat doll song and Edward said, stop they have to keep wanting. Who says that they are innocent and do not know what they're talking about are kidding themselves. And Edward knows exactly what he is doing and I dare to say maybe even the most intelligent one of them. Well, about the comment about them acting retarded... It's not uncommon for people that were born premature to have some slight problems because they had no time to fully develop. And I think every fan knows and thinks that they act feminine haha, but how not? Britney is their idol and they adore Nsync and backstreetboys and are totally into pop and gossip and so on. Boys were making fun of them because of that and so the twins hang out more with girls. Have you noticed that in xtra factor (when Backstreet was there) the host said, aww John & Edward love the Backstreetboys and John was, like, no, no not love we just have so much respect for them. I think someone that is confident about their sexuality wouldn't say, care or notice that the host even said 'love'.

And I think every fan knows and thinks that act feminine haha but how couldn't they, Britney Spears is their idol and they adore Nsync and backstreetboys and are totally into pop and gossip and so on. Surely boys were making fun of them because of that and hang out more with girls. I think someone that is confident about their sexuality wouldn't say or notice that... i thought that was just because they were there and he was kinda embarasssed about holly saying how much they loved them in front of them.

I didn't get that one. If Edward turned out gay, it wouldn't surprise me. He has acted quite girly a long time now.
John isn't gay. That I'm quite sure of.

Lol. Even in those crazy clothes and with the gayish hair, he doesn't resemble anything gay.
They really are getting into the smallest comments and then make such a big deal about it. So that he corrected 'love' to 'respect' doesn't seem suspicious to me. Since they do it a lot. No matter what comment it is.

I see you've met Jedward. If you don't mind me asking how different are they personality wise? Edward comes across more femminine in interviews, is this the same in real life? and errrrm, i don't really know what else to ask, what are they like? what stuck out in your mind about them?

Well I actually don't think that they're putting on an act now...if anything, they were putting up a facade during the X Factor. If you look at them now, compared to XF, you'll notice alot of differences. When they first walked on stage, they were very cocky, slightly chavvy and spoke a little bit 'weirdly'. I think since then, they have come out of their shells and are showing us what they are really like. I like them now as opposed to in 2009. It's like that when you first meet someone...you try to make a big first impression, hiding all your little flaws until you get to know them a bit more. Now that they've been in the spotlight for a while, we're slowly getting to know the true John and Edward Grimes. Which isn't bad, it's brilliant Since being ridiculed by the media and haters, John andn Edward have come out bigger and better, showing them how they will not be scared off by them. And their fans have brought out a great side in them. If anything, fans have made them more caring. Sorry for the long rant...but I just think that the John and Edward we're seeing now, is the real deal. Why would they put on an act anyway?

The X Factor is heavily edited don't forget. They got told what to do in performances when nowadays they do EVERYTHING themselves.
They pick the clothes, they do their own routines (apart from in Oops! of course and UP which Brian Friedman did) everything else is 100% John and Edward and they can do what they want creatively. The only thing they don't seem to have a say in is what songs they're allowed to do.
They do Britney dances and Timberlake dances. Edward even does a bit of MJ too. They have loads of influences so we'll see all sorts. They're free to do so much more now than back when Cowell was in charge

I completely agree the Jedward we are seeing now and in Let Loose is the read Jedward. As a fandom we've just got to see more of them over the past 6 months, get to know them if you like. I think they are exactly the same people they were in the very first few X Factor videos. I for one haven't noticed major changes.
