Sth entirely new, pls. (A modest sample within the new song would be okay, though. But I'm really talking SAMPLE here, not entire verses or whatnot.) That's what I'd like. What do I expect though? Jump. I might sound rude, but can people who get to meet them on the Irish tour politely hint to them that Jump isn't really a fan favourite? Let's face it, if they release Jump, it's gonna more or less flop and their public persona won't benefit from it. Additionally, they NEED to nail the new single live to an inch of their lives. The promotion on shows and live performances outside their tour(s) will be viral for the success of the single AND the album and they need to make people believe they completely and utterly own the song. No half-assed job would do. I mentioned the album. Yes, the new single is much more important than UP(IIB). Why? Coz it's not merely a stand-alone single, it's also THE ad for the LP and THE promotional tool for the LP. And if the single goes down badly with the general public, the album won't stand a chance. /NEGATIVISM OFF ;D There, I got that out and now I can go happily back to looking John!Pics

I'm really hoping the shows that Louis has seen may change his mind on Jump. I don't know why I think it is his plan to release this next, but I do for some reason.
Let's hope he has a huge surprise in store for us

BYE BYE BABY!!
No I'm joking, I'm gonna put something new cos I like Break My Stride best out of those listed but I don't like the random black man rap in the middle and it'd mean another collab!

I want something completely new. If they do a another cover people will compare them to the original artist. I just want them to have a catchy pop song that they will be able to ace and not be gimmicky at all. I also wish they could drop they Jedward completely and just be John and Edward.

IT HAS TO BE AN ORIGINAL!!! only because they won't be able to shake off the Novelty Act thing if they come out with another cover! For the next single to be a hit, it needs radio airplay and they won't get it if it's another cover!!!

The 2nd single needs to do well if they are going to get a decent stab at a pop music career. But it's all so rushed...

The lead single tells people what they can expect. If the cover is an unoriginal nineties re-hash with obviously rushed production it will tell people to expect an album of re-hashed nineties covers and rushed production. A fantastic 2nd single is no good if an unimpressive first single has already put off potential buyers. The album will have disappeared out of the charts long before the opportunity of a 2nd single comes around. The reception of the 1st single in a media still in many parts very hostile to the boys will hugely influence how the album sells in it's first weeks. I badly want success for them but I am worried here. No amount of enthusiasm or professionalism from j&e will counter the perception of them as a novelty act doing the obligatory novelty album if the next single is a cover. It gives the impression the record company are not all that interested...

I voted for something new but I don't think it's likely as the release seems kind of rushed.
Out of the songs on the tour I would like All The Small Things, but I absolutely love that song anyway, reminds me of college.
Agree with everything everyone else has said though, it's going to have to be amazing if they're to shake off the novelty tag. I really hope they can do it

No one has mentioned 'Pop'?! I love that song. They sing it so well and it really suits them. The lyrics are kinda true for them as well. Watching the video they did for the song make me want it to be the single even more.

Personally I vote for The wheels on the Jedward bus go round and round (oggy oggy oggy/ who let the dogs out mash up version). A dead cert for number 1.
