They really should've had the meet & greet package things on the Irish tour. It'd be alot more fair to those who aren't lucky enough to meet them. And i'm sure they would've loved to meet new fans aswell as the ones they already know

fair enough i'd probably be annoyed too, but if/when the twins tour uk i'm sure the irish fans will be given the same privelidge that we were given, i.e you flew over you made sacrifice so you cna go m&g. and yes i know sacrifice doesnt just depends on flying over the sea, fuck do i know that lmao, it's just the way it is haha.

Why do I feel that this may cause another UK/Irish divide?

It really shouldn't. I'm sure the boys would do the exact same for any Irish fans they knew that will fly over to the UK tour. It's just a pity for the ones that can't travel much to see them you know that way.

Because it probably will haha.
it's stupid though :/ i don't see why jealousy and stuff has to cause so much arguments within fandoms

If I do make it over to ireland for the tour, I'll have made a massive effort but I doubt I'd get into one of these hallowed Meet and Greets because I don't know all the right people so I won't be able to tell anyone what a massive effort I made and how much I "deserve" it. I don't wanna become best friends with the twins and follow them round forever but I do just wanna say hi and have a photo with them. I look lonely in my facebook and twitter profile pics as it seems nearly everyone else I know has a picture of themselves with John and/or Edward.
Sad as it may sound I don't have much going on in my life as I am really very ill and have been for years and years and these boys have meant a lot to me and I really don't understand it. I can't hang about stage doors and stuff, I'm not well enough, I can hardly get up my own stairs. I spent a week lying in bed recovering from going to the x factor tour that was an hours drive down the road away.
Obviously anyone offered multiple meet and greets is going to take it. Just sometimes, maybe just for me, seeing everyone elses smiley pictures with them does make me a bit jealous especially when some people (some very nice people) have hundreds of them.
I get a bit jealous when all the Jedward fans get together and meet each other without meeting the twins too. You all seem to have such a laugh. I'm not well enough for that either. :-(

In my opinion, no one deserves to meet the twins more than you, Katharine. You have been so supportive and I know this is a huge thing that you are going to do. You know I'd try if I could but I don't know the right people either. I hope to god someone reads your post and offers to get you a wristband. I will be so upset if there are UK fans there who have seen J&E loads who get in over you. That surely is not right. ps I'm praying the planes are back to normal for you, as well. x

So when I booked my tickets for the Irish tour I wasn't thinking that there would meet and greets, I just knew i had to see it because it's their first tour by themselves :')
I still don't really understand how you get the wristbands and stuff, i've just been told to get to the venue early and hope for the best! I'm not going to get my hopes up but yeah, if I can't get in which I know will probs happen I will be gutted if I see people going in who have met them loads, because I've traveled quite far too haha. Would be amazing to get to meet them but I'm just glad I'm going to Ireland in the first place.

But if there is one thing becoming ill and disabled has taught it, it is that life's unfair. Just sometimes it's ok to have a bit of a cry about it. I can't believe I've been looking at Ferries just in case. But the friend who is coming with me is not convinced that I am well enough for the ferry and the train. She's probably right. but what she doesn't really get is, I'm not well enough for the taxi and the plane either. If only sitting up weren't so painful!

With the m and g's it's not about who the most deserving person is unfortunately. I was lucky enough to get one today but there were people there asking the twins, 'which one are you?' If you can procure a small child that seems to help.

If you can procure a small child that seems to help. That's what it was like in my m&g too - I saw John hugging a girl whilst saying "I'm John". I don't know if she asked or made a mistake but a fan should be able to tell the difference when seeing them in the flesh.

Lots of the little kids win them in competitions or are relatives of crew etc so maybe aint such huge fans. That's the luck of the draw.

i think the jedwardgenius forum (char & vaness)should run a competition for a meet and greet. maake a deal with the tour manager/management it seems like they have connection. it will add some fun in the forum as well. to akka and the rest of the gang you should become an official jedwardgenius correspondent and then maybe you are entitled to secure a g&m freepass, secure g&m pass for giveaways.
all the fans are making an effort to support or see the twins in their own little way so everyone deserves a meet and greet.
to those fans who have defied time and nature, just to see the boys , hats off guys we really adore and salute you without you there will be no account of the events overthere and you deserve all the meet and greet without a doubt. just maybe you have to be more discreet on how you manage to secure your m&g pass- not everyone has an open minded. if you have met them over and over while others are relying on "luck and high hopes" then there will be a jealousy. unintentionally, it might put off some fans and there will be damaged on the twins fanbase. as they have said"no one is special" so they have to be true to their words.
peace out guys. make love not war

yeah it does seem to be down to luck. Many Ill and disabled people have to plan every single detail of their lives so that's not gonna happen for me. When i say i'm jealous i don't mean i'm lying here burning with hatred for you lucky people. I just get a bit sad sometimes i'm not well enough to join in. There were no nightclub events with a VIP pass anywhere near me else i'd have gone. But maybe meet and greets with non fans and luke warm fans will get the boys more dedicated fans and we need more fans - ironically making it even more harder to meet them! But operation international popstars is the real mission.

I don't have any issue with fans the boys know getting I to M&Gs because it's understandable.
That said, I do think it's a little unfair when the same people get into more than one - and that's genuinely nothing against the people who have because of course you aren't going to say no, but with some people getting in repeatedly and other people not getting in at all, I can see where the jealousy/drama is rising from?
I dunno, they should just sell tickets to the buggers to give everyone a fair playing field IMO?
