thought id share a nugget of (granted rather tenuous!) gossip nonetheless! anyway, i have a VERY lucky friend who (through contacts unbeknown to me) managed to get front row tickets for the jingle bell ball. yeah i know, what a bisnatch! anyway, bumped in to her the other night and she told me 'one of them' (didn't know who, fool) fell off the runway stage right ontop of her (she had the bruise on her face to prove it to be fair!) and claimed 'he was completely pissed, couldnt even speak' apparantly, whoever it was tried to apologise but was too intoxicated! www.youtube.com/watch?v=omhIupMy3WMWHAT! sorry guys but i was completely taken aback at this revelation! no way could this be true!?! Jedward?! drunk?! what is this world coming to?! what do you guys think?  |

Nahh I doubt it's true! They said they don't drink so I'd believe them..
They were probably very hyped up, like, it's easy enough to mistake drunkeness for just being plain giddy!

They'd just come out of the x factor and was invited to do something so huge, they are over the top excited. Saying that, I'd LOVE to see them drunk. Drunk people are my favourite type of people.

Yeah, there's no way they'd get drunk for something as big a deal as the Jingle Bell Ball. Just over excited. I do think there's a possibility John might have been a bit tipsy at the X Factor Wrap party though.

He didn't quite fall, he jumped off poorly  can be seen in videos from other angles. And as someone who doesn't drink - I can say that if you really don't want to drink, no amount of insistence is any use, I frankly do not see John as tipsy in those pictures at all. It is a subject that is not important at all and brought up casually by them, so I really don't see them lying about it either. So... err yeah |

I agree with Claire, John looked a bit unstable at the wrap party haha. Everyone I know who said they would never drink gave in. They're old enough so why not. When they get on the crack is when we can start to worry |

Virtually all the tabloids and most celeb magazines reported the quotes about them being wholesome and clean-living. It's absolutely certain that with the ammount of press at the Jingle Bell Ball it would have been reported if either of them had been drunk!
There are plenty of reporters who still want to take any opportunity to trash them and this would have been a godsend to them.

Everyone thought Britney Spears was a virgin.... I really don't think they would be drunk for a performance though, it would probably only take them a shot to be drunk, they're so hyper anyway. In Heat today they asked Joe about drinking and smoking. Hes tried smoking but didn't like it and he likes to drink vodka and coke, used to like cider. |
