John and Edward liked the fact that RATM could be the Christmas No 1, which it is now of course.
I think it's basically a good thing that the winner of the X Factor should not automatically assume they'll get to No 1 at Christmas. I mean, why should they? Perhaps Cowell and co will choose a better song next year, instead of that awful shit The Climb.

Like, when the peope are outside and they're asking them what's their dream and some say "To have the Christmas number 1"? I hate it when people say that

Doesn't anyone feel really sorry for Joe, I mean, he's the most talented winner yet and he get's blatently robbed. Ok, I wouldn't mind if RATM was a good song..but..it isn't.. i agree. apart from leona, joe has been the best yet and he deserved his first number one. rage against the machine are probably a successful bandd, but joe's just starting. pooor lad =[ x

i dont understand why they chose the climb out of millions of songs or shock horror an original song when miley has only just released it herself..and does a much better job obviously....stoooopid..

i wouldn't have minded RATM being christmas number 1 if they actually wanted it for their song to get the top spot, they only did it to stop simon cowell getting another christmas number one. i also wouldn't mind if it was a more recent song, it's from 1992 or something like that. i think joe actually deserved it but i agree that they shouldn't have chosen the climb. i think joe sings it well though.
