Well since he's extremely feminine and then I mean extremely, he's probably gay. Nothing homophobic about that. A straight guy just wouldn't act in such a way. Just a fact. it doesn't matter about sexuality at the end of the day. This ^ why should it matter if he's gay or not, thats his business, his sexuality should not have an influence over how people feel about him. Gay, straight, bi, Asexual whatever it doesnt matter, it doesnt change how awesome he is

Surely, the fact that Edward mentions Britney so much shows that he likes her/has a crush on her. So how does one equate that to being gay? He idolises a lot of male stars as well, like Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. So it proves nothing.
Also, I don't think you can just assume something about someone you don't know. Just because a person chooses to act a certain way or has not had any relationship so far, does not mean anything.
Anyway I thought this thread was about something else? lol

Anyway I thought this thread was about something else? lol It clearly annoys the opening poster anyone might be gay. And the opening poster apparently needs a declaration from Edward, Edward is gay, for some reason because the opening poster finds it ... annoying. Edward is Edward, as it's already been said. If Edward were to announced he is not gay to shut the rumour mongers up, that would be an insult to those who are gay because it would make out they are in the wrong in the way they lead their lives. What next? Should all gay people wear pink stars? Really not wishing to invoke Godwin's Law here, but that is shades of Nazi Germany and is a very, very frightening scenario. Once again, my stance is Edward is who he is and no one outside his inner circle or he knows what his sexuality is. He's a fantastic entertainer, which is all that counts, not a political activist. When Edward is ready for a relationship (we don't know he isn't having a relationship now, although it's doubtful because where would he even find the time), tabloids will be all over him and will let the world know. Do we have a clue if his first relationship will be with a man or a woman? Well I don't and any relationship he were to have wouldn't affect me anyway unless it stopped his show business works. I like his show business works because he and his brother make me smile.

You can't compare them to Edward. Walliams is kinda feminine but not like Edward, who's more feminine then boyish. You see Edward acts more like a woman then a man.
I never said I hated Edward for his sexuality. I really don't hate him at end of the day but I don't love him either. Now you're twisting my words, does his bratty behavior have anything to do with his sexuality? No, I don't think so. The reason I dislike Edwars is cuz he's an annoying brat.
When Edward send out effeminate signals, people think of him as gay, why wouldn't they? Even some at Celebrity Juice questioned his or theirs sexuality. Gays who are open often act effeminate, if it's the case with him, good for him. Maybe he even wants people to think he's gay, who knows.

Really? You know Edward that well? You've met him many times and can judge him then?
Or are you judging him from what you saw on Let Loose which we know to a great extent was not spontaneous, and moreover was filmed at a time when Edward was in great pain from his knee and was on strong painkillers.
Reptilian, I do question your motive in joining a Jedward fans' forum and proceeding to post inflammatory comments about one of the members of the act of which you're supposed to be a fan.
I may be completely misjudging you. I don't know you. But by the same token neither do you know Edward. Therefore if I am misjudging you, I am only using similar criteria to you in your judgement of Edward.

To say that is pretty harsh. You are not a fan of John if you hate Edward. They DO come as a package. I think you only dislike Edward because you think he acts a bit gay ¬¬ So I'll just say for now that you're reason for hating him is because you are homophobic. You're really the only 'fan' I know that has such a leaning towards just one twin. That's not a good thing.

Aaaand another thing. Maybe you've never noticed because you 'love' him so much, but John sometimes does things that would come across as annoying. Like in one interview he totally stole the microphone xD You wouldn't really call him annoying for that would you? I think it's just because John is your favourite. And don't forget that on LL, not EVERYTHING was filmed, and some of it was even stages to make it more interesting. Alot of the things Edward did was completely normal in my books anyway. Like throwing stuff out of a window. Psh, who hasn't done that? I know I have a few times xD And annoying someone while their on the phone? Yeah, done that too. Would you call me a brat for doing so? Plus, just think of it this way. John and Edward like to google themselves, and they know about Jedward Genius. So there's a good chance that one day they might come across this little thread. It may seem like a small matter, but I don't think Edward wants people questioning his sexuality :'D It's so stupid! There's gay people who act really manly. So the whole campness and effemininity thing is a stereotype. Nowadays, guys like to take time to do their hair, use products and all that stuff. It's not that the world is turning gay or something, it's just that we're out of that homophobic zone now. Well, sort of. I think there's nothing wrong with Edward being a bit feminine. That makes him different from John and shows he is his own person. Some women -cough- even like their men to be like that. I mean come on. Who wouldn't like Edward is JUST a best friend? That on its own would be pretty awesome. He has style, he has the attitude, and he's just really cool But in all seriousness now. I actually judge you as a hater more than a fan. Because the things you have said sound really...haterish? Tut tut.

Edward is Edward, pretty sure if you don't like his Edwardliness he doesn't exactly care cos he knows plenty of us love him for his amazing Edwardness!
And John sometimes does Edward's hair, with hair products........ I really don't see where you're going with this, they both clearly use a lot of hair products.
That said how John didn't clobber him over the Jedward Special thing I'll never know and I'd have made him vacuum up those coco pops!
so if you are a Jedward fan that hates one of them, would you want John to ditch Edward and go solo? (*shudders* I do not want to live in the world where that could happen)

I agree that debate is good should be encouraged here and certainly a forum can seem tedious if it is self-censoring and full of fans who are uncritical of the artists they follow. It's really important that fans engage in constructive criticism. Regarding Edward's sexuality, people have drawn their own conclusions long ago, it has been discussed, a line was drawn under it and people moved on. The general consensus at this stage is that whatever his orientation is, he is AMAZING, and we love him. It really doesn't matter much. If people seem reluctant to bring it up it's because everyone is aware that the twins lurk the interwebz and I don't really think we'd want them to come across anything that might upset them when the subject is so personal and sensitive. I think maybe what bothered people about this thread was that it really seemed like an attack on Edward, repeatedly branding him 'annoying' and using the word 'feminine' clearly as an insult. Also completely ignoring the fact that John isn't perfect either. Edward is fierce. I adore him. That is all.

Agreed, though I agree with some of the original authors views I do think he is biased as he doesn't like Ed and does at times appear to be attacking Edward when he talks about him being femminine and these motives have become a lot clearer in his most recent posts. I think yes, a sexuality discussion can only go so far because he is what he is and, it's a pretty superficial topic with no substance to it. Basically i'm just saying sexuality is really just a label, it's nothing.

Basically, you don't like Edward AT ALL! You haven't really said a good thing about him! You are clearly being homophobic because you are calling him more feminine than a woman :'D You do know that all guys don't have to be like body builders who just play Cod or Black ops or something. I think John and Edward are amazing guys. Tons of males are all muscle and no feelings. Luckily for us, John and Edward have both and everything inbetween. I stand by what I said before. You're a pretty rubbish fan. I don't know why you're still here tbh.

Edward is amazing, and his sexuality is irrelevant to this. :') Everyone should just love him.

Dear Abby, My boyfriend uses moisturiser, mousse on his hair and blow dries his quiff (really). Should I be worried? Yours, A Woman.
